King Jesus Coloring Contest

In conjunction with our Fall spiritual growth series in the Gospel of Matthew, South Shores Church is holding a coloring contest (4 actually) in order to get everyone (12 and up) involved (the kids are having their own contest with full size pages!).

Here's how to enter and win!

Step 1 - Color the bulletin cover

Crayons. Colored pencils. Magic markers. Oil paints. Whatever your medium take some time to turn your black and white bulletin cover into a visual delight.

Step 2 - Gain entries

There are multiple ways to gain entries for each of the contests (no purchase necessary).

• Physically turn in coloring page at church = 3 entries (max 1 per week, per person).
• Post a picture of your page on Instagram with appropriate hashtag. = 3 entries (max 1 per week, per person) / Profile will have to be public or followed by @SouthShoresChurch during entry collection in order to count towards total.
  • September 10 - October 8 = #KingJesusTakeover
  • October 8 - November 5 = #KingJesusUpsidedown
  • November 5 - December 3 = #KingJesusElephantRoom
• In comments on your Instagram post, tag friends. = 1 entry per unique tag (per week, per person)

Step 3 - Win prizes!

Our King Jesus series is 12 weeks broken into three 4-week miniseries. Each mini-series will have 1 grand prize winner and 2 runner-ups.

• Takeover (September 10 - October 8) / Chosen week of October 8
  • Grand Prize - $50 gift card to The Point Restaurant and a copy of Gaining by Losing by JD Greear
  • 2 Runner ups - Gaining by Losing by JD Greear
• Upside Down (October 8 - November 5) / Chosen week of November 5
  • Grand Prize - $50 gift card to The Point Restaurant and a copy of Gaining by Losing by JD Greear
  • 2 Runner ups - Gaining by Losing by JD Greear
• Elephant in the Room (September 10 - October 8)
  • Grand Prize - $50 gift card to The Point Restaurant and a copy of Gaining by Losing by JD Greear
  • 2 Runner ups - Gaining by Losing by JD Greear

Lastly, once we've run the course of all 3 series, the church staff will narrow down to our favorite ten and will run a voting contest on our Facebook Group page. Only members of the Group page will be able to vote. More details on this part of the contest will come as we get closer to it.
