Starting Point is an under 30 minute look at South Shores and your place in it. Geared toward those who have visited South Shores 2-6 times, it will be hosted by a pastor who wants to get to know you and others who are new. It will feature a brief talk on the church (vision, values, beliefs) and what it would look like for you to get involved. At the end there will be time for your questions.
Where is it?
Starting Point is held in The Hub Annex connected to The Hub in the Family Center, just north of the Worship Center. Grab your donut, coffee or lunch and head right in.
When is it?
Starting Point happens about five minutes after the first two services (approx. 9:20 & 10:35 am) and about ten minutes after the third service (12:25). This means you can come to the one after your service, or the one that meets before it, whatever works for you.
What about my kids?
Let the Kids Team know when you check your children in that morning that you will be going to Starting Point after the service. After the first two services, our awesome Kids Team will gladly keep watching your children and then you can come pick them up in their normal rooms. After the 11:00 service, we ask that you pick your kids up after the service, grab them lunch and then drop them off at the Elementary Check In (“Big Room”). They’ll let you know where to pick them up after.
We look forward to seeing you there: it’s the Starting Point to a journey of walking with Jesus at South Shores Church, one step at a time.
Next Starting Point is January 26, 2020. Click to Register.
