For the fourth year South Shores Church partnered with the Laguna Niguel & Mission Viejo Family YMCAs to provide backpacks and school supplies for kids in need. On Monday, August 7 twenty two people met at South Shores Church in San Juan Capistrano and helped fill these backpacks with supplies... and love... so they'll be ready for their new owners.

How many backpacks did they fill?

Well, they filled 253 backpacks... but by the next day that number turned into 286 backpacks!

These backpacks and supplies will be distributed to children who are in need within the Beach Cities Childcare, Mission Viejo Childcare and Laguna Niguel Childcare Programs. School starts in just two weeks and these kids will get to be ready along with their classmates.
