Come Gather with the Women of South Shores this Spring as we retreat to the mountains for a JESUS ENCOUNTER. Together we will study God's Word, learn more about our precious Jesus and leave knowing Him more fully, trusting Him more sincerely, and surrendering to Him more completely.
We’ll enjoy times of prayer and praise, worship and sharing, teaching and fellowship in the beautiful mountains of Forest Home. Time and space is provided for you to be with your friends, old and new, and to engage in personal, intimate, one-on-one time with Jesus as you study His word, reflect, journal, read, and pray.

Guest Speaker: Paula Webb
Paula’s passions are an extension of God’s grace and daily renewal of her own redemption story. She learned about Jesus at the age of 31 and surrendered a broken past to Him. Soon after, she picked up a Bible for the first time in her life. Over time, slow and deliberate choices toward obedience to seek God’s plan for her life God provided opportunity through ministry to encourage others with His love. She is crazy about her husband of nearly 25 years, relentless in her relationship with their two, college-age sons, and loves on their blended family’s three adult kids, spouses, and grandkids!
For over ten years, Paula pastored women in a local church in North County San Diego. She now mentors, writes, and leads and speaks nationally at women’s conferences and retreats. Paula meets hearts exactly where they are with God’s Word through humor and practical, hands-on teaching which address the real circumstances of our lives in desperate need of Truth. It is at this very intersection that biblical ‘aha’ moments happen and women experience the Holy Spirit speaking directly into their lives with love!
Worship Leaders: Brooke, Lauren and Rhoda
Brooke recently joined South Shores with her husband, Chris, and daughter, Reece, as well as her parents and sister and her family. Brooke currently serves on the Contemporary Worship/Praise team. She has over 20 years experience leading worship for multiple churches in Southern California as well as traveling the globe to lead worship.
Lauren and her husband, Steven have been attending South Shores and leading with our Contemporary Worship/Praise team for 20 years. She has served as a leader in youth and women’s ministry and has a huge heart for adoption/orphan care. When she’s not singing, Lauren is busy homeschooling her two kids, coaching softball, and always on the hunt for more coffee.
Rhoda is a piano teacher, vocalist, member of multiple worship teams and serves as sound engineer for her church. Rhoda has also served as a missionary with her husband, Clint for over 20 years. They have 3 children and are currently working with South Texas Youth at Risk, partners with Pacific Youth Correctional Ministries.
