With God's spirit leading us, and the commitment of the people of South Shores Church we want to REACH NEPAL.

WHO WE'RE REACHING: 

DHIMAL PEOPLE GROUP

The Dhimal of Nepal, numbering 24,800, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are part of the South Himalya people cluster within the Tibetan / HimalayanPeoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Dhimal. 

The primary religion practiced by the Dhimal is Buddhism, a system of beliefs and practices largely based on the teachings of Siddhartha Gautama, commonly known as the Buddha.

KAYORT PEOPLE GROUP

The Kayort of Nepal, numbering 28,000, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are part of the Bengali people cluster within the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. This people group is only found in Nepal.Their primary language is Kayort.

The primary religion practiced by the Kayort is Hinduism, the predominant religious tradition of the Indian subcontinent. There are many forms of Hinduism, each with its own deities and beliefs.
