Essentials for Young Lives Drive
Did you know?
- One in three American families struggle to provide diapers.
- Families represent 63% of those living in Orange County shelters.
- Mothers who are struggling to provide diapers are more likely to be living paycheck to paycheck and are under pressure to meet everyday needs.
- California reported 334,131 homeless children in 2010.
This year, South Shores Church is partnering with the Laguna Niguel Family YMCA to support the HomeAid Essentials for Young Lives Drive, a community-wide effort to supply the 1.2 million diapers and other products needed this year for the around 400 homeless babies in Orange County shelters. You can help through spreading the word and donating supplies.
Items needed are:
- Diapers
- Baby Wipes
- Baby Food
- Hygiene products
Please bring your donations to the church office or to the foyer on Sunday morning. The drive goes through May 10th.
